Welcome to Crookhill Park Ladies’ Section. This section has been re-established in 2009. We currently have 15 playing members and 10 social members. There are weekly competitions every Thursdays and Saturdays. Several major trophy competitions including knockouts and mixed pairs are played from March to October. Ladies can enter competitions not only in the Lady Captain’s Day but also in the Captain’s Day and the President’s Day where great prizes can be won. Lady Captain’s Day Out is organised during the summer. We enter the NAPGC competitions throughout the year as well as the Ping Ladies’ Fourball Championship. Competitions for beginners are also held a few times during the year. We have our own lady golf professional, Betty Sworowski, who gives group lessons on Monday tea times at a very competitive price. Other times are also available for both groups and individuals and may be booked directly with Betty. Social events are one of our favourites which vary from walking in the dales and visiting theatres. We are a very friendly crowd and always welcome new members.
